This is a video a friend sent me. The man singing thinks his wife is a Calvinist. Absolutely hilarious.

Here is one of his quotes that I absolutely can relate to every time I read it.

“I want Thy plan, O God, for my life. May I be happy, and contented whether in the homeland or on the foreign field; whether married or alone, in happiness or sorrow, health or sickness, prosperity or adversity – I want Thy plan, O God, for my life. I want it; oh, I want it!”

So, my band, R.T.F., has at least 3 gigs over summer now. I’m super excited! If you wanna come and support us, and support some good causes, then here are the 3 gigs:

June 5th - “The Voice” open mic night at Country Life Church. The event goes from 6-9pm, and various local youth will be playing there and sharing their gifts.

1111 Sixth Street
Norco, CA 92860

June 23rd - Fundraiser for the Relay for Life in Corona. We will be playing in front of Philippi’s in Norco. We’ll be playing 8-9pm.

1192 Sixth Street
Norco, CA 92860

July 4th - Norco Fourth of July Jamboree. We’ll be playing sometime in the later afternoon, so if you want more info, I can keep you up to date on that.

And, on a side note, we’ll most likely be playing for a friend’s birthday party in August.

Well, SWC is this weekend, and alas, it’s a no go for me yet again. Oh well. But I’m really sad because there are a couple of bands that I would REALLY like to see (more specifically Fireflight and Project 86). Here is a line up if you want to get last minute tickets:
